At Rosewood Guesthouse, the day starts with a delicious breakfast which is included in your tariff. We believe in serving the best we can source and prepare. Jane and Keith can cater to special dietary requests with reasonable notice.

 

Start your day on an appetising note


Always present on the sideboard are:

 

  • Australian Orange Juice
  • Cereals
  • Gaby’s muesli - absolutely chock full of fruit & nuts
  • Cornflakes
  • Gluten free cereals (must be requested when booking)
  • Milk - Full fat & Reduced. ( Soy and Rice milk can be requested when booking)
  • Yoghurt - From the award winning Margaret River Dairy Company
  • Fruits - a selection of at least 3 of the following…
    Prunes in orange tea syrup
    Winter fruit salad… a medley of dried fruits in a port based syrup
    Pears poached in red wine
    Poached stone fruit (in season) eg nectarines in grenadine syrup
    Peaches in brandy
    Melon in ginger syrup
    Strawberries in balsamic glaze
    Apple wedges
    Rhubarb & orange
    Brandied oranges
    Plums - Margaret River
  • Organic bread from the Margaret River Bakery
    Includes a selection from White, Sunflower & Sesame, Rye, Mixed Grain, Fruit & Nut

Then make a selection from

 

  • Porridge (made to order and served with brown sugar & cream on the side)
  • The famous Rosewood waffles served with banana maple syrup & cream on the side
  • The Big Breakfast egg, bacon, the Rosewood sausage & oven roasted tomato 
  • The Daily Special

And finish with

 

  • Yahava brewed coffee or select teas

Available at Rosewood in the guest dining room are a range of complimentary teas and coffee & port in the evening. We also have soft drinks and a coffee machine for which a small charge is made. 

 

The Rosewood Cheese plate can be pre-ordered and makes a great light lunch or supper.
It consists of:

 

  • Margaret River Dairy Brie x 100 grams
  • Old Cheddar Cheese Creamy Cheddar 200 grams
  • Dried fruit & nuts
  • Fresh Apple
  • Olives
  • Mixed crackers
