Breakfast at Margaret River

They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at Rosewood Guesthouse we totally agree!  A great breakfast can set you up for a wonderful day exploring the delights of the Wine Region from your accommodation in Margaret River and we enjoy providing guests staying in our lovely guesthouse with an interesting menu. Surely the best part of an Australian bed and breakfast is knowing someone else is going to serve you a lovely breakfast.

What's on the Menu?

We start with a parfait - layers of local muesli, Jane’s home poached fruit and topped with yoghurt.

Whilst many of our guests enjoy a traditional “Full English” with the famous Margaret River Free Range Eggs, we also like to cater for those seeking a lighter breakfast. So, we offer different choices designed to suit the health conscious with our house porridge or our decadent house made waffles for a bit of indulgence.

Catering for coeliac and vegan preferences, so that everyone has a lovely breakfast is what we do, and with the wonderful local produce a daily special is always suitable for vegetarians.

Just in case you want to try Jane’s preserves we have organic bread from our local bakery for toasting, slathering with butter and perhaps the satsuma plum jam with port! For our gluten free guests, we can offer suitable gluten free bread for toasting.

Let us know your food preferences

We can’t give you all our secrets here but most important is when you book please let us know of any dietary requirements or dislikes so we can make sure we have prepared for you.

Recently one of our guests jokingly told me that her husband is very allergic to cucumber, but she supposed we don’t use cucumber at breakfast. Guess what! One of our latest specials is smashed avocado which I top with cucumber, basil and a little EVOO! Needless to say there is a big note in my diary not to serve that when they are with us.

Throughout summer we have enjoyed serving guests on our front deck overlooking the gardens. Just the last couple of days we have noticed the mornings becoming a little crisper and before long, our gracious lounge/dining room will swing into action in the mornings, with the appetising aroma of Yahava coffee beans being ground ready for that bottomless cup.
